David Biele sworn-in as State Representative for 4th Suffolk District


Inauguration for 191st Legislature Held at State House

State Representative David Biele (D-Boston) officially joined the Massachusetts House of Representatives during the inauguration for the 191st General Court. Rep. Biele, was sworn-in as the State Representative of the 4th Suffolk District on the floor of the House of Representatives.  The oath of office was administered by Governor Charlie Baker.

“I am humbled and honored to take the oath of office and serve the 4th Suffolk,” sad. Rep. Biele.  “Thank you to the voters of the 4th Suffolk District for entrusting me with this responsibility.  I will work hard every day in support of neighborhoods and communities, and I look forward to working on quality of life issues that impact residents across the district.”  

Rep. Biele, a local attorney and longtime State House staffer, was elected last fall to fill the seat vacated by the election of Senator Nick Collins to the Massachusetts State Senate. Following the inauguration, Rep. Biele began working on his legislative agenda for the upcoming session, ahead of the bill filing deadline on Friday, January 18.
