BCYF Tynan Happenings

Flag football:

On Friday February 6th at 4:30pm, the Rams played the Chiefs in the BCYF Tynan flag football Super Bowl. It was a hard-fought battle between both teams but in the end, the Rams came out on top 62-48 to beat the Chiefs. The Rams came out scoring quickly with Evan Pierce and Aiden Kinevy scoring some quick touchdowns to put the Rams in the lead. The Chiefs came back with Robert Wisniewski and Zaidin Pickup scoring a few touchdowns to keep the Chiefs in the game. At the half, the Rams lead the Chiefs 37-18. It seemed like the Rams were in a good situation to win until Mullen Byrne and Jayden McQueen scored some quick touchdowns to have the Chiefs only down by one touchdown. In the end, the Rams held on with some scores from James Posell and Finn Cawley and a interception by Max Atchue to seal the deal for the win. The MVP of the game was Evan Pierce, who had three touchdowns, two extra points and played great defense. It was a great year and all the kids had fun and improved a lot as the season went on. We hope to see everyone back next year.

Field trip:

BCYF Tynan kids went to the Patriots Hall Of Fame recently and had a great time! The price is right if you are looking to take the family. The tour started out with a video of the Patriots history before and after they had become this dynasty. It’s very user-friendly with some great exhibits, running through the tunnel, eye catching patriot imagery on large ceiling screens and many more attractions.
