Easter weekend is finally upon us. Here is a listing of Masses and Services for South Boston’s Churches. It’s important to note that the Albanian Orthodox Churches in the community: The Holy Trinity Church on D Street and St. George Cathedral on East Broadway are not listed here this week because the Albanian Orthodox Church will celebrate their Easter traditions during the following week
-Castle Island – Easter Sunday Sunrise Mass: 5:54am
-Gate of Heaven Church – Easter Sunday: 9am, 12 Noon. No Mass at 6pm.
-St. Brigid Church – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion with Communion. Holy Saturday: 7:30pm Evening Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection Easter Sunday: 8am, 10:30pm (No 6pm Mass on Easter Sunday)
-South Baptist Church – Easter Sunday: 10:30am
-Marian Manor Chapel – Special Easter Weekend Masses; Saturday: 3:45pm, Easter Sunday: 10:30am
-St. Monica – St. Augustine Church –Saturday 7:30pm Mass (Spanish), Easter Sunday: 10:30 am Mass (English).
-St. Peter Church – Saturday: Easter Vigil7:30pm (English), Easter Sunday:9am (English), 10:30am Mass (Lithuanian)
-Fourth Presbyterian Church – Saturday: 7pm Easter Vigil. Easter Sunday: Sunrise Service at McCormack Bath House, Carson Beach at 6:30am, Regular Service 10:30am
-Hub Church – (The Loft at 401 D St.) Easter Egg Hunt at Marine Park 10am Easter Sunday 10:30am Service at The Loft. – Saturday: 7:30pm Easter Vigil, Easter Sunday: 9:30am, 11:30am, and 7pm
–Waterfront Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage – Saturday: Easter Vigil 7:30pm. Easter Sunday: 9:30am, 7:30am and 7pm.
(Note: Validated parking is offered for all Holy Week Liturgies at the Water Front Shrine at one Seaport Garage at a discounted rate of $9 for all day parking with a validation sticker.
