GOLF PLANS ITS RETURN IN JUNE, MOVES MASTERS TO NOVEMBER

This was supposed to be Masters week in the sports world. Unfortunately, not even golf could withstand the Coronavirus.

The Masters was postponed several weeks ago, but on Monday, golf organizers announced a return date for the sport, including a new date for The Masters. This year’s Masters Tournament will now take place at Augusta National, beginning on November 12.

The PGA Tour hopes to resume play with the Memorial Tournament in June. Also, the PGA Championship was moved from May to August, and the U.S. Open has been moved from June to September, with the Ryder Cup remaining in its original date in late September.

It is still unknown as to whether or not fans will be allowed on the courses when golf resumes.
