Mayor Walsh Update On Drug Company Litigation

 

Mayor Martin J. Walsh, joined by city officials and health care leaders, today at 1PM (see notice below) will announce next steps in pursuing litigation against the pharmaceutical industry to recover damages the city has incurred as a result of the opioid epidemic. In June 2018, Motley Rice LLC was retained to represent the City of Boston in litigation against the pharmaceutical industry for their role in the opioid crisis, following an open call for information to help inform the City’s approach for developing a legal strategy.
