Letter to the Editor

Last Friday, March 16th, I was on my way home from grocery shopping while riding my scooter. At the corner of H and Fifth St., I hit an ice patch and the scooter tipped over on top of me. This happened on the side walk and I couldn’t get up. When I looked up, the Mail Lady was first on the scene trying to help me.  Two young guys stopped to help. They got me up and lifted the scooter up.

At the time I didn’t think I had hurt myself and scootered home. I had some cuts and bruises when I got home. I tried to call the post office, it was after hours and nobody answered so I hung up.  I wanted to let the postal supervisor know how the lady mail person showed that she was a kind and caring person and thank her very much.
